Terms of Service

GovTasks is an independent software platform that aggregates publicly posted government and public-sector opportunity information, matches it to the business profile you provide, and helps you organize the work of pursuing it. GovTasks is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, and does not submit bids on your behalf.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of your business profile.
• Accounts are for your organization; do not share access outside the seats included in your plan.

• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute GovTasks data or matching output as a competing dataset or service.
• Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, access other organizations' data, or disrupt the service.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

Paid plans bill monthly in advance through our payment processor and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your subscription settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Opportunity data comes from third-party public sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or changed by the issuing agency. Fit scores, AI summaries, and generated task plans are informational aids, not legal, bidding, or compliance advice, and never a promise of an award. You remain responsible for verifying requirements, deadlines, and submission instructions with the issuing agency.

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here; continued use means acceptance.
